For fall 2009, Justin Alexander will launch a new wedding dress collection that merges affordability with environmental sensitivity.
PURE, by Justin Alexander is the first major wedding dress collection to feature all organic fabrics with fashion forward wedding dress designs. Ecologically aware brides can choose between thirteen organic wedding dresses in the collection, each available up to size 20.
The Fabrics of PURE by Justin Alexander Wedding Dresses
The fabrics used to make the Justin Alexander wedding dresses in the PURE collection are entirely organic. The pure silks and cottons used to make the wedding gowns are produced without the use of pollutants, pesticides, or chemicals. Additionally, the fields from which the cotton comes is not treated with any stimulants or chemicals would could affect the cotton. The fabrics in the Justin Alexander PURE wedding dress collection are produced without the use of harmful dyes or bleaching processes.
Some of the organic wedding fabrics used by Justin Alexander include cotton, organza, pure silk, cotton sateen, and chiffon. For structure, organic cotton twill is used. The laces which adorn the dresses in the PURE collection are made from organic cotton, sometimes with shells, wooden beads, or real pearls sewn within the pattern.
The Styles of PURE by Justin Alexander Wedding Dresses
Like the other dresses in the wedding dress collection from Justin Alexander, the PURE collection has a range of dresses that flatter every body shape and size. Four of the dresses in the PURE collection are on the shorter side, ranging from tea length to slightly above the knee, supplying the bridal community with desperately needed short wedding dress options.
Many of the organic wedding gowns feature an empire waist with flowing, free fabric, making them ideal for a breezy beach wedding or a destination wedding. Others are reminiscent of days gone by, calling on the classic styles of the 1940s and 1950s for a timeless, flattering appearance.
All of the dresses in the Justin Alexander PURE wedding dress line feature natural embellishments. Fresh water pearls, three-dimensional metal flowers, mother-of-pearl, and wooden and glass beads take the place of the traditional sequins and plastic beading.
